Our Objectives

All players who choose to participate in Future Football Academy are representatives of the Academy. With the privilege of participating, come certain obligations and responsibilities. Each player must meet the behavioural standards set forth in this code of conduct maintaining the integrity of this program, which is based on teamwork, discipline, respect, commitment and good sportsmanship.     As a player, I will:

  • Treat the opposition with respect; shake hands prior to and after all contests.
  • Respect the judgement of all officials, compete within and abide by the rules of the contest.
  • Play in a manner that reflects good citizenship, sportsmanship, and Jesuit ideals.
  • NEVER use or tolerate foul language, racial or offensive slurs, or physical abuse.
  • Help clear equipment, water bottles, and any other trash and/or personal belongings off the field/side-lines after every event.
  • Try to develop my skills to the best of my ability and give my best effort at all times.
  • Respect the dignity of every human being and never be abusive or dehumanizing of another.

    As a team member, I will

  • Place team goals ahead of any personal goals.
  • Be a positive influence on team relationships. Follow team rules established by the coach and the Future Football Academy.
  • I hereby agree to participate as a team member of the Future Football Academy Program.
  • I accept responsibility for and agree to maintain and return all equipment issued to me from the Future Football Academy in the condition it was given, with the exception of normal wear and tear. I understand that any equipment not returned must be paid for the damage.
  • I understand that there are certain risks of injury inherent in the practice and play of this sport, as well as in traveling and other related activities incidental to my participation, and I am willing to assume these risks.
  • I hereby certify that I am fully capable of participating in football and that I am healthy and have no physical or mental disabilities or infirmities that would restrict full participation in these activities, except as listed below.
  • In addition to giving full consent for my participation, I do hereby waive, release, and hold harmless the Future Football Academy, its officers, coaches, sponsors, supervisors, and representatives for any injury that may be suffered by me in the normal course of participation in football and the activities incidental thereto, whether the result of negligence or any other cause.

PARENTS AGREEMENT

Welcome to the Future Football Academy! Parents are the first and primary educators of their children. You are their primary role models and the behaviours you display are the behaviours your children will learn. The Future Football Academy Program is also an important part of your child’s spiritual, physical, social and emotional development. Participation in the program develops a player’s athletic ability along with their ideals and values concerning teamwork, cooperation, sportsmanship, and commitment. As a parent registering our child for participation in the Future Football Academy Program, we ask that you review the following Code of Ethics.

    Please read and initial:

  • I hereby pledge to provide positive support, care, and encouragement for my child participating in the Future Football Academy.
  • I will encourage good sportsmanship by demonstrating positive support for all players, coaches, and officials at every game, practice, and club activity.
  • I will place the emotional and physical well-being of my child ahead of any personal desire to win.
  • I will insist that my child play in a safe and healthy environment.
  • I will provide support for coaches and officials working with my child to provide a positive and enjoyable experience for all.
  • I will remember that the game is for children, not for adults.
  • I will demand that my child treat other players, coaches, fans, and officials with respect.
  • I promise to help my child enjoy the youth football sports experience within my personal constraints by assisting coaches as needed, being a respectful fan, providing transportation, and/or supporting the Future Football Academy (FFA) organization in any way I can.
  • I will require that my child fully participate in practices and that they be an active and supportive team member.
  • I will ensure that my child adheres to their signed Player’s Rules, Regulations, and Code of Conduct Agreement.
  • The Academy may capture photographs or videos of the player during training sessions and matches for promotional or educational purposes.
  • I, along with my child, accept responsibility for and agree to maintain and return all equipment issued to us from the Future Football Academy in the condition it was given, with the exception of normal wear and tear. I understand that any equipment not returned must be paid for the damage.
  • I, along with my child, understand that there are certain risks of injury inherent in the practice and play of this sport, as well as in traveling and other related activities.
  • I do hereby waive, release, and hold harmless the Future Football Academy, its officers, coaches, sponsors, supervisors, and representatives for any injury that may be suffered by my child in the normal course of participation in football and the activities incidental thereto, whether the result of negligence or any other cause.
  • I confirm that my child does not have any known health needs or medications (e.g., diabetes, asthma, epilepsy, allergies). Kindly let us know if any.
  • It is recommended that the player have medical insurance coverage. The Academy is not responsible for medical expenses resulting from injuries sustained during training or matches.
  • I understand that Future Football Academy has all the rights to stop my child from training or matches if there is a payment due of more than 60 days.
